Hosting questions
Can you host a site you didn’t build?
Usually, yes. We review it first. If it relies on outdated plugins or software we’ll tell you what needs fixing, and we can rebuild it if that works out cheaper over time.
Will my site go down during the move?
It shouldn’t. We set everything up and test it on the new hosting before switching your domain, so visitors shouldn’t notice the move.
What about email?
We’ll configure the records your email provider needs (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so your messages reach inboxes. We recommend keeping mailboxes with a dedicated provider such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and we can set that up too.
Is there a minimum contract?
Plans run month to month after an initial term agreed in your quote. If you leave, we hand over your site files and help you move.
