The brief
JNW IT is an IT services company that also builds websites. The site had to lead with IT while giving web design, hosting and SEO a clear home, without feeling like two companies.
It also had to prove the claims it makes: fast, accessible, secure and ready to rank.
- IT first, websites secondIT services lead; websites have their own section and pages.
- Evidence over adjectivesReal Lighthouse scores on every case study.
- Quotes, not price listsEvery package leads to a conversation and a fixed quote.
How it’s built
Hand-written HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript. There’s no framework, no page builder and no plugins, so there’s nothing to slow it down or leave unpatched.
The design borrows from engineering drawings: a faint blueprint grid and measurement marks on the portfolio, because measuring things is how we work.
- Structured dataOrganisation, services, FAQs and breadcrumbs described for search engines.
- AccessibleKeyboard navigation, visible focus, reduced-motion support, AA contrast.
- Self-hostedOn our own hardened server, published through Cloudflare.
- Protected formsTurnstile, honeypot, timing and rate-limit checks.
Results
Measured with Lighthouse, desktop, October 2026.
Time to load is how long the main content takes to appear (Google’s Largest Contentful Paint). Under 2.5 seconds is considered good.
Search basics is Lighthouse’s technical check: titles, descriptions, crawlable links, image text and indexing. It confirms a site is set up correctly for search engines. It doesn’t measure rankings or traffic.
